The first thing to consider is what you are buying them for. The needs of the country pugs vs. the city pugs are very different. For the city pugs, it’s usually more about the salt than the snow. The city tends to get sidewalks shoveled quickly, but they are covered in salt, which gets into the bed of the pug’s paw. Ice can also be a problem, so non-slip is always a good option. For country (or suburban or rural) pugs it’s more about the snow and the cold.
