PugsTakeNYC Raffle Success
Our first in-person fundraising event was one for the books! Our raffle at #PugsTakeNYC last weekend raised a total of $4,152 for Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles. This included a $500 matching donation from The Rudy J Foundation. The outpouring of support and love of pugs was heartwarming and gratifying.
The Andaz Wall Street’s beer garden was packed with pugs and their humans, and the shared love was palpable. We are so grateful for everyone’s generosity in helping Pug Nation and their foster, Bella, who desperately needed very expensive major surgery and a wheelchair. The money we raised not only covered the entire cost of the surgery, but is enough to pay for Bella’s wheelchair, too!
Enormous thanks to everyone who participated in #PugsTakeNYC and our raffle. From the event organizers to the raffle donors to the volunteers on-site—we couldn’t have done it without you, and we couldn’t be more proud.
I hope you enjoy these photos from the event as much as we enjoyed being there!
